Mh3u on 3DS using a wii u worth it?

I have mh3u on my 3DS right now and i was thinking abou getting a Wii u. I will most probably get it in the future anyways for new games like Smash bros, Mario kart, zelda etc. i also wanted to use it for online for mh3u on my 3ds, but is it really worth it? There are many annoying things about the setup such as having a wired connection, buying the lan adapter and having to search for lobbies and talk to others on the wii u. Is it just better to have a wii u copy of the game instead of doing all things for the 3ds version?

Paying the price of a Wii U and a wired LAN adapter, instead of a Wii U and the Wii U version of the game makes no sense to me. Get the Wii U version of the game, transfer your save, and enjoy a better online experience. 3DS-over-WiiU online connection was only made for people who already owned all the necessary hardware when MH3G HD came out in Japan, and didn't feel like buying the game again just to play a 6-months-old title online. That's not the case for you, so stopping at the price of Wii U+LAN adapter instead of Wii U+MH3U will only save you a tiny bit of money but give you a ton of trouble. Seriously, just get the Wii U version.

Once you get used to the change in framerate between the 3DS and WiiU version I think you'll enjoy playing on a larger screen with a proper controller (I use the Wii U Pro Controller). I play on the WiiU every chance I get now.
